アクセス
東海北陸道 郡上八幡ICから20分ほど走ったところにあります。また、大滝鍾乳洞から車で約5分ほど走ったところにあります。
公共交通機関では、岐阜バス高速バスで郡上八幡または、長良川鉄道郡上八幡駅からタクシーで20分です。
大滝鍾乳洞とセットで買うと大人1,300円です。大滝鍾乳洞が1000円で、セットだと200円お得です。
ふるこんぼいは、大滝鍾乳洞でセットで買っていたので、スムーズに受付することができました。
この鍾乳洞は、入洞＝縄文洞ミステリーツアーとなっています。なぜミステリーツアーかというと、受付時に懐中電灯を受け取り、暗闇の中を見学するからです。
いざ入洞、の前に写真撮影ご遠慮くださいの看板が…。
暗くしているのも、コウモリが生活しやすいようにだと思いますが…残念。

中に入ると、当たり前ですが、懐中電灯なしでは進むことができないほど真っ暗でした。階段などアップダウンも激しいところがあり、ゆっくり進むことを推奨します。ふるこんぼいは一人だったので、気にせずさくさく進みましたが…。
鍾乳洞を出てから
縄文鍾乳洞は入り口と出口が異なりますが、そこまで離れていないので、すぐに元の場所に戻ることができます。
Cかず～の感想
家族やカップルで来れば、他と無い天然のお化け屋敷として価値は高いと思います。
鍾乳石を観るというより、暗闇と縄文人を模した置物を楽しむ的な…。確かに鍾乳石もあるけど…。本来は灯りが無いのが鍾乳洞なので、これはこれで正しいのかもしれないですが…といった感じです
縄文鍾乳洞周辺には、大滝鍾乳洞や美山鍾乳洞、郡上鍾乳洞と、多くの鍾乳洞があります。鍾乳石はそちらで楽しみ、縄文鍾乳洞は文字通りミステリーツアーとして楽しむのが吉です。
出口付近でコウモリの群を確認することができ、これはこれで楽しめた…かな。
